Assisted Living Facilities
Assisted Living Facilities are also called Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly or RCFE. They serve individuals 60 and older; provide room and board, housekeeping, supervision, and personal care assistance of daily living activities like personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, eating, and walking. All meals are prepared with diets in mind and have staff available 24-hours a day. Facilities can centrally store and distribute medications as recommended by their physician. Sizes of facilities vary.
RFCE’s are typically for seniors whose health and well being requires a higher level of support. Some facilities have licensed nurses on staff.
Facilities are licensed and inspected by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing (CCL).

Assisted Living Facilities
When you or a loved one needs support with daily tasks or safety becomes an issue, it may be time to consider an independent/assisted living facility. This type of retirement community is specifically designed for senior living. It offers most of the comforts of home. Under 60? No, problem. Facilities are licensed to have 25% of the population under the age of 60. We also have contracts with Adult Residential Facilities that serve ages 18-59.
Board and Care Homes
Board and Care homes are the same as Assisted Living Facilities except in a more homelike intimate setting and usually in a residential community.  These homes can be small private facilities that are licensed for 6 beds depending on the size of home.
Memory Care
Memory care is a added level of specialized care in assisted living communities. These residential facilities cater to individuals in every stage of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Communities closely monitor residents in a safe and secured environment. Assistance with daily living programs are tailored to each unique needs of residents.
